I'm an old friend of Chris (and Graham and the gang) from back in San Antonio and I was looking for a good picture of him and thought I'd try online...hence how I found your site. It's really amazing reading all these comments about a guy who touched me so deeply and personally; discovering his spirit touched so many others. Chris left some good buddies down here who, to this very day, live in his honor. You see, we had talked for years about becoming filmmakers...but Chris actually went on to do it. He was the heart, the workhorse, the drive behind our unit. And we admired and followed him for that. When we lost him, we were utterly devastated and lost. It wasn't long before we realized that we would use his loss as the driving force to continue that which he started, and do what we had all once promised each other. I loved him so much and I know this is what he would've wanted--for all of us who he touched. Long ago we played with the notion of starting our own production company, trying to figure out what we'd call it. So we took the first letters of each of our names and tried variations, but never really settled on anything. Just a year ago, we continued the dream and invested in equipment. And a few months later we opened our website and officially started our business--CERL Productions; the "C" for Chris. <br/><br/>A pleasure to meet you, Howie.
